Feral boar are found extensively through out the South Pacific. Both islands of New Zealand have populations as well as extensive populations in Australia.

Generally we suggest that anyone targeting boar, as a particular species, concentrate their efforts in the Northern Territory of Australia and combine the hunt with either Buffalo or Banteng.

The Boars are feral descendants of domestic type stock. Whilst the predominant colour is black, other colour variants are seen. The boars display many of the characteristics associated with the true European wild boars and can provide a real challenge. Almost any calibre suitable for deer is OK.
