Giant Rusa Stag in New Caledonia
Each year
Kiwi Safaris New Zealand takes hunters on "The Greatest Deer Hunt on Earth".
From mid July through August the giant rusa stags of New Caledonia announce
their rut with roars similar to those of the red stags of New Zealand.
These vocal, Asian deer challenge all comers in their efforts to dominate
the breeding.
Hunting this
tropical South Seas island is one of the most exciting deer hunts available
in the world today. Areas of New Caledonia have consistently yielded
NEW FREE RANGE WORLD RECORD trophies for the past several years.
